Our Senior Pastor
Dr. Richard L. Curry, Jr. is the Senior Pastor of the True Tried Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN, where he has served the urban community for over 24 years.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, a Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership from Wesley Seminary, and a Doctor of Strategic Leadership degree with a concentration in Servant Leadership from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Our Mission
The mission of the True Tried Missionary Baptist Church is to fulfill the biblical mandate as prescribed in the Great Commission (Matt 28:16-20) to make disciples in order to repair and restore God's kingdom here on earth.
Our Vision
True Tried Missionary Baptist Church is ever striving to become a "24-hour a day, 7-day per week, kingdom building community church".
